Bommar kept us rather busy his first year of life, rubbing out his entire mane as a yearling was the most frustrating antic.  We are patiently watching his gorgeous new mane emerge!  As a stud Bommar brings a plethora of attributes to the breed: He has an extremely beautiful head which will add further refinement to the breed.  His movement is my favorite thing about him.  From day one he moved effortlessly and had natural bend.  The best part is the action he produces naturally in his hind end.  He literally floats above the ground and I can’t stop grinning when I sit that trot!!!  I have always loved his flashy color and both fillies from his first foal crop (see below) are similarly marked.  He has a presence I can’t explain (I call it je ne sais quoi), he is patient, willing and playful, a joy to be around.  Last, but certainly not least his documented bloodlines will be a great addition to any breeding program.  Bommar currently has seven foals on the ground.  Bommar is EVA negative and homozygous for black and tobiano!
